MISS GEORGIA LATINA DIVISION

Throughout the Miss Latina US™ pageant system, from the state level to the national and international level, delegates are judged in three areas:

Interview Competition:

Pageant judges spend time with each delegate to learn about her personality, culture, intellect, successes, talents, goals and ambitions. Attention is focused on her poise, charm, self-confidence and her ability to communicate, as well as the substance of her answers.

English and Spanish are the official languages of the Miss Latina US™ Pageant. It is NOT a requirement for contestants to speak Spanish, although it is encouraged. Personal interviews with judges will be conducted in the language the contestant feels most comfortable speaking.

Swimsuit Competition:

Attention is focused on figure, physical fitness and the confidence with which each contestant carries herself. Numerical measurements are not considered in the judging. Weight should be proportionate to height.

Evening Gown Competition:

Each delegate wears a gown she has chosen for herself. Attention is focused on each contestant's overall appearance, self-confidence, sense of style, beauty and grace she brings to the gown of her choice.

There is no talent competition and no experience is necessary. There is NO minimum height requirement.

The Miss Georgia Latina pageant is looking for an ambassador to represent the state of Georgia. The winner may not score the highest in any one particular category but will do well in all areas. She will be the young women who possess the entire package of poise, personality, intelligence and beauty. All participants should understand that in winning there comes a responsibility to the pageant system, sponsors, community and to the state of Georgia. The winner will automatically and instantly become a role model. It is certain to be an exciting year of personal growth and accomplishments.
